M8 "Lagoon Nebula" , in Sagittarius photographed from St. John's May 10, 2007 by Tim Caruk through an 8" Celestron scope with an LPR filter, and Olympus SP-310 digital camera that was modified to increase it's sensitivity to Hydrogen Alpha light.
