1. Randy dropped off the latest brochure for the Butterpot project.
2. The National President will be here in November. We suggest the next executive have a Wine and Cheese. We should also have the traditional cholesterol trip with the executive taking the President to a restaurant. Date: November 21 (Wednesday). Topic: "Bizarre Stars I Have Known".
3. AGM. Garry has a video to show ("Celestial Spheres.")

5. Astronomy Course. We probably weren't paid for this summer's course. Things are up in the air for this semester, but nothing seems to be planned by Continuing Studies.
6. Joint Christmas meeting with the Natural History society. Fred will check on the possibilities, and play it by ear. We could have a pot luck, wine/cheese. Possible site: Botanical Gardens with scopes.
7. Science Faculty Open House is up in the air due to access problems.
8. A reminder that we need to get on with setting up an independent board for the Butterpot Project.
9. Garry: new member brochure could be useful. New members need to know what is available and going on with respect to the Centre. Contents: library, gear, executive and other contacts, observing sites and protocols/times, planetarium times.
10. Observing Group Discussion. Various ideas were tossed around on how to get our group out together more often. Maybe certain nights would be designated and a meeting would be held at the warm-up shack anyway, regardless of the weather. We have the problem of communication. The O.G. should get a meeting together to address these concerns with interested members.
