Canada Health Records Association
Although directed towards health professionals, all record managers will benefit from
the content within this web page. The association provides a variety of publications
which pertain to both health records and records management in general. An overview
of the health records profession as well as opportunities in this field are explained.

Bilingual web site which provides full text articles online regarding the records
management profession. Links within the site take the user to employment
opportunities, publications including the annual report, legislation and professional
literature, and a list of other information management web sites.
Museum Association of Newfoundland and Labrador
MANL may be of use to many records managers in that it provides assistance with the
preservation of artifacts (including records in various formats). Seminars on how to
maintain a healthy repository, repair damaged records and conserve documents are offered
throughout the year. The MANL office will prepare, upon request, packets of
information specific to the needs of requesters.
National Archives and Records Administration
This section of the National Archives and Records Administration deals directly with
Records Management. A US federal agency, NARA provides information on policies,
guidelines and initiatives which can be utilized by both US and international records
managers.
National Archives of Canada
The NAC provides timely information on how to preserve and retain records for
government departments, information which can also be of use to commercial and
private sectors. This site also contains ArchiviaNet, which provides access to
government and other conserved information. A publications section permits users to
browse resources useful for conserving documents and the preparation of emergency
preparedness plans for records.
