Most people want to make healthier choices both at home and when eating out. The good news is that taste and healthy eating can go hand and hand.

The Heart Smart Restaurant Program is designed to offer foods that are lower in fat and sodium and high in fibre.

Numerous restaurants across the province have chosen to be part of the Heart Smart Restaurant Program by providing their customers the opportunity to make healthy food choices and to eat in a healthy environment.

The healthy food options available are displayed on promotional materials throughout participating restaurants.
