Annual General Meeting 2004

The club is a registered non-profit organization and is required to hold an annual general meeting open to all members. The meeting is usually held in early spring and details of that meeting are mailed to all club members. We will also publish this information on the website under upcoming events.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear the reports of the club executive, read the minutes of the previous meeting, the election of officers, presentation of awards and to discuss the future direction of the club.

All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the AGM. You can read the minutes of the last meeting by clicking here.

AGM 2005 will be held on Friday March 11, 2005 at 7:30pm at the Community Room of the Dominion supermarket on Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl. This years guest speaker will be Mr. Stephen Hull (M.A) the manager of the provincial government's Archaeological Database. Steve's talk is entitled "Aboriginal Watercraft in Newfoundland and Labrador".
