RECOGNIZING the need to build the Green  Party and to enhance the effectiveness of the Global Green Movement the Terra Nova Greens extend heartfelt thanks to Nicholas Murray for his 1989 provincial election campaign.

Nick is the first Newfoundlander to run as a Green Candidate. Nick ran in the 1989 provincial election campaign as an Independent Green candidate in the electoral district of Carbonear, Newfoundland.  We hope that Nick serves as an example to future candidates, across Canada.
