River Description:
Three big falls on this one, a 23 m falls followed by a 20 m falls 700 m downstream and a 9 m
falls below the rd. This was run by the Americans in '90. They ran everything except 2
drops!

Starting in Wiltondale at the intersection of RD. #431 and Gradient 52 m/k

RD. #430 drive 8.7 km north on RD. #430. The lookout at

the west end of Southeast Pond is 1.4 km before the 275 fpm

put-in point. Southeast Pond could also be use as a Section: Max

From the put-in continue along RD. #430 for 3.7 km and 496 fpm

park at the side of the road. You will pass a bridge at 2.1 Section: North Fork

km that could also be used as a take-out for the steep

section, but you would miss the 9 m waterfall. From the Distance 2.4
km

river, just before you reach the ocean, hike out of the Gradient 169 m/k

valley on the north side of the river to the highway.

Alternatively paddle 2 km across the bay to the RD. #430 893 fpm
