| Follow the put-in directions to the first fork in the logging |
| road south of RD. #431. Instead of turning right, turn left |
| and drive up the road 1.1 km. The road will be very close |
| to the river and you should be able to see the confluence |
| of the South Fork and the Lomond River. Leave a |
| vehicle here. Alternative the first bridge across the |
| Lomond River (1.1 km downstream) can be used as a |
| take-out if you want to squeeze out a bit more whitewater. |
