| Submissions for the webpage | |||||||
| The intent of this website is to create a place for interactive exchange of information. Please send us descriptions, difficulty ratings, access information, and photographs of rivers you have run. If you have content you would like included on the site than please send it on in.
Include as much information as possible with your submission. For beta related to rivers follow the format of other guide sheets on the website. When describing how to find put-in and take-out locations provide as much detail as possible. Odometer readings from distinctive landmarks are most helpful for finding river access points. No guide should ever replace careful, safe scouting, so river descriptions can vary in content and it is up to the author how much detail to provide other paddlers. Difficulty ratings published on this site are based on the international river rating system as described by American Whitewater. The assignment of these |
ratings is abritrary and are highly biased to any given paddlers skill and experiences. With that in mind this website will attempt to utilize the entire paddling community to rate a rivers difficulty. If you have kayaked a river in the province, than please submit a rating and it will be included in the database and reflected on the guide pages.
Photographs will be included in the gallery pages. If you submit a photograph please send it at a reasonably high resolution. Also include the location the photograph was taken, the name of the paddler, and the credit for the photographer. Perhaps someday we'll have a webform for submission, but until then send submissions to the email address below. |
